LEON, IA. ... HELEN RUTH CAIN of Cainsville, 68, died Friday September 3, 1999 at a hospital here.

Funeral services were held Tuesday September 7 at the Stoklasa Memorial Chapel in Cainsville, with burial in the Zoar Cemetery at Cainsville.

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society and mailed to Memorial Chapels P.O. Box 341 Bethany, Missouri 64424.

Mrs. Cain, the daughter of Leroy and Margaret Meinecke, was born in Princeton on July 24, 1931. She lived most of her life in the Cainsville area and was a member of the Cainsville United Methodist Church.

Before retiring, she was employed in senior citizens homemaker aid for 15 years.

Mrs. Cain is survived by her mother, Margaret Meinecke of Cainsville; one daughter, Violet Ellsworth of Eagleville,Mo; four sons, Billy Cain of Blythedale, Mo., Mike Cain of Cainsville, Kenneth Cain of Smithburg, Md., and Roger Cain of Chillicothe, Mo.; three sisters Marjorie Parkhurst of Cainsville, Dixie Francis of Bethany, Mo. and Mary Francis of Waterloo, Ia.; three brothers William Meinecke of Fairbank, Ia., Ed Meinecke of Cainsville and David Meinecke of Vail Az.; and 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Bill Cain (in 1992); daughter, Connie and a brother John Meinecke.
