RICHARD CAIN ... Richard Cain, Cainsville, died May 8, 1991, at a Des Moines, Iowa, hospital.

Mr. Cain was a lifelong resident of Cainsville, he was retried from farming.

He served with the Army during World War II and the Air Force in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Estella Thomas Cain, of the home; six sons, Dewey Cain, William Cain and John Thomas, all of Cainsville, Clarence Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz., and Paul Ingram of Omaha, Neb.; four daughters, Florence Thomas of Modena, Jessie Thomas of Cainsville, Mary Bulman of Des Moines, Iowa, and Connie Pryor of Lady Lake, Fla.; six brothers, Harvey E. of Eldorado Springs, Clayton of Adkins, Iowa, Bill and Darrell, both of Cainsville, Frank of Ridgeway and Jim of Leavenworth, Kan.; three sisters, Wilma Foreman of Lamoni, Iowa, Mary Hagan of Cainsville and Shirley Blakesley of Weston; and 15 grandchildren.

Graveside service and burial was held May 11 at the Cain Cemetery with military honors by members of the Americal Legion Post No. 257 of Cainsville.
