HILL, LEE, 74, Lorimor, former resident of Decatur County, died Aug. 2, following heart surgery at University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City. Service was conducted Aug. 6 at Watts-Lindsay Golden Rule Funeral Home, Lorimor, with pastor Dan Berry officiating. burial was in the Lorimor Cemetery.

Lee Hill was born April 9, 1914 near Leon, Iowa to Doc an Sarah [Hullinger] Hill. He married Leta Kalar June 12, 1944 in Des Moines. Two daughters were born: Sandra and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers: Warren, Lloyd and Ray; 4 sisters: Maude, Hattie, Mary and Florence.

The family lived on the family farm in Decatur County, moved to Des Moines, and then to Waterloo for 22 years before moving to Lorimor. He retired from the Rath Packing Plant in 1968. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
