JULIA HIGDON ... Mrs. Julia M. Higdon, 84, a longtime resident of Cainsville, died Jan. 26 at Leon, Ia. Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church with the Rev. Orlis North and the Rev. James McLhon officiating. Burial was in the Leon Cemetery.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Rita Booth, Cainsville, and Mrs. Julia Belle Kent, Guthrie Center, Ia.; two sons, James J. Higdon, Des Moines, Ia., and Lawrence Higdon, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Leah Holland, Mount Ayr, Ia., and Mrs. Gertrude Fugate, Janesville, Wis.; two brothers, Zem O'Bryan, Hot Springs, S. Dak., and Mace O'Bryan, Burlington, Wash; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
