Leon, Ia. ... FAY KATHERINE HIGDON, 92, a native of Cainsville, died Sat. Sep. 9, 2000 at Decatur Co. Hospital.

Graveside Services were held Wed. September 13, at Fairview Cemetery at Cainsville.

She has lived in Lamoni for 30 years, and had also lived in the Davis City, Ia., and Gilman City, Mo., areas. She was a homemaker, and also was a telephone operator for five years.

She married Eldon Higdon on Nov. 5, 1927 at Leon; he survives of the home.

She is also survived by two sons, Donald Higdon of Bethany, Mo., and Rex Higdon of Lamoni; and by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ray and Henry Crouse.
