Elza A. Hamilton ... CONESVILLE -- Elza Arthur Hamilton, 70, of Conesville, died at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov.5, at his home.

He was born in Harrison County, Mo., on Feb. 7,1903, the son of George and Mary Ellen Foote Hamilton.

He married Myrtle Martin Feb. 2, 1922 at Leon, Ia.

Mr. Hamilton was a farmer and had worked on bridge construction.

Surviving: The wife; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Carmen) Goldsberry, Conesville,
Mrs. Cleo (Ethel) Gerot, Riverside, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Singleton, Conesville; three sons, Donald, Muscatine; Harley, Conesville; Marvin, Letts; 33 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers; Raymond, Columbus Junction; Clifford, Decatur, Truman, Leon; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Cowles, Pleasanton, Mrs. Ruby Pouland, Princeton, Mo, Mrs. George (Martha) Wolford, Columbus Junction, Mrs. Dean (Clella) Eastin, Burlington, Mrs. Nina Spridgen, Omaha, Neb.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Stacy-Lewis funeral home, Columbus Junction,
Fr. Walter Boeckmann and Rev Robert Foster; Conesville Cemetery. Rosary; 7pm at the funeral home.
