WATSON, Pauline Mae, 79, of Phoenix, Arizona, died January 18, 2007 at her home in Phoenix, services were held at Phoenix First Assembly of God with Pastor Tommy Barnett officiating.

PAULINE MAE WATSON ... Pauline Mae Watson, 79, was born April, 5, 1927 to Ansel and Mae McGauhey in Osceola, Ia. She went to be with her Lord and Savior January 18, 2007 in Phoenix, AZ at her home of heart failure. Services were held at Phoenix First Assembly of God in Phoenix with Pastor Tommy Barnett officiating. Three people gave their hearts to the Lord at the end of the service. She worshiped there for over 20 years.

She was educated at the Leon, Ia. High School. She was married to Charles Lloyd Watson, August 7, 1943 and to this union was born 2 children, Judy Ann and Larry David.

During the early years of marriage they farmed in Decatur County. In 1950 they moved to Albia, Ia. and farmed 4 years. In 1954 they moved to College Springs Ia. and farmed for 1 year. Around 1955 they moved to Des Moines, Ia. In 1968 they moved to Phoenix, AZ, there living out the remainder of her life.

Pauline was a wife and homemaker, Sunday School teacher and a wonderful Christian example to her family and friends. Pauline and her husband were wonderful singers. They sang duets for many years at churches in Iowa and Arizona. They truly blessed the hearts of the people and as a result many people came to know the Lord as their personal Savior.

Preceding her in death were her father, Ansel; her beloved husband Charles who died in 1984; and a grandson, Charles Leland Watson who died in 1975.

Those surviving are her daughter, Judy Watson, Larry David and wife Jane Watson, 2 grandchildren, Shannon Michelle and husband Robb Skow, Larry Shawn Watson, and 1 great grandchild, Annalynn Watson all of Phoenix, AZ; her mother 97, Mae McGauhey Smith and sister Faye Bolinger, Des Moines IA; nieces and nephews Debbie Marie Shepherd, David Shepherd and his wife Mary, Dennis Shepherd all of Des Moines, IA; Betty Audlehelm and her Husband Don (deceased), Ames, IA, Robert Watson (deceased) and his wife Doretta of Mediapolis, IA; Joann Andersen and her Husband Jim of Grinnell, IA; Ronald Watson (deceased) and his wife Diane of Des Moines, IA, MaryJo and Randy Hale of Nevada, MO; Jimmy Watson and his wife Lynn of Des Moines, IA; plus additional great nieces and nephews and cousins and numerous relatives and friends.
