ALVA WARREN HAMILTON ... Alva Warren Hamilton, son of Charles and Edna Mae Hamilton, was born March 26, 1918, in Harrison County, Mo., and passed away at Ellis Fischel State Research Hospital in Columbia, Mo., Jan 1, 1973, at the age of 54 years, 9 months and 6 days.

Alva spent his entire live in the community in which he was born and raised. In 1936 he was united in marriage to Ruth Eastin and to this union four children were born: Leonard of Davis City, Iowa, Patty Moreland of Ravenwood, Mo., Doyle of Waukee, Iowa, and Roger of Cainsville, Mo.

Alva spent his entire life farming in the community in which he resided.

Alva was a kind and loving husband and father, and good friend and neighbor to all who needed him.

He was baptized into the Methodist faith and tried to live a good and righteous life until he was overcome by acute leukemia after a short period of illness.

Alva leaves to mourn his passing, his widow, Ruth of the home, his 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Rosanna Meinecke of Cainsville, Mo., and Florence Baker of Salt Lake City, Utah, 3 brothers - Jasper of Ridgeway, Mo., Randall of Mt. Moriah, Mo., and Arthur of Varina, Iowa, also a host of relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his father and mother, 2 brothers, Earnest and Clarence of Ridgeway, Mo., and 2 sisters who died at an early age.
