FAIRY LEE was born September 22, 1878. Her father and mother, LEVI LEE and
wife, lived at this time, at Green Bay, Clarke County, Iowa. She was
married to Mr. CHAS. D. MCKEE Aug. 3, 1895. Ever since their marriage Mr.
and Mrs. MCKEE have lived in Van Wert, where Mrs. MCKEE has gathered about
herself and family a host of sincere friends. To this union have been born
five children, GOLDIE, now Mrs. BRINER, of Grand River; CARL, living with
his parents; CHRISTIE, who died at the age of 18 months; LEO, also at home,
and baby LOWELL, born April 20, and buried the same day.

Mrs. MCKEE was converted and joined the Methodist Church during Rev.
Lennarth's pastorate. She has since endeavored to live as the Master taught
his disciples they should live. She has been a faithful and loving wife and
mother. She died having faith in Christ. Kissing her loved ones good-bye,
she assured them that there was no fear in her heart and extending her hands
upward she declared she could see her babies lovingly cared for by the
Heavenly Father. Mrs. MCKEE passed from this life Saturday evening at 9 o
clock, May 2, 1914. Her husband, mother and three children with many
friends, mourn her departure.

After brief services at the home the funeral services were conducted by Rev.
Keast, in the new Methodist Church. Interment was in the Van Wert Cemetery.
