wife and youngest daughter, he moved to Leon and has since made his home
here. Brother AKES, during his last illness was constantly telling those at
his bedside that the Lord was with him.

Funeral services were held at the Palestine Church, March 29th, conducted by
Rev. Chas. W. Reeder, attended by many of his old neighbors and friends, and
all of the family was present but one sister. The remains were laid to rest
in the Palestine Cemetery.

The family wish to extend thanks for the kind assistance rendered during his
