ISAAC, the youngest son of WM. and SUSANNA MOON, was born in Champagne
County, Ohio, Nov. 27, 1852. He moved with his parents to Decatur County,
Iowa, in 1854, and with the exception of seven years lived in Atchison
County, Mo., has made this county his home.

He was united in marriage to SARAH ELIZABETH FISHER, March 8, 1887. To this
union 8 children were born: Mrs. BERTHA M. BENNETT, of Leon, Iowa; Mrs. ROY
MOON, of Allerton, Iowa; Mrs. MYRTLE HAYES, of Huston, Mo.; Mrs. ELSIE
MCGHEE, of Lineville, Iowa, with whom he made his home; Mrs. DOLLIE BENNETT,
Davis City, Iowa; Mr. LEONARD EVERETT MOON, of Cainsville, Mo.; ELMER OHLEN
MOON, of Watson, Mo., and GOLDA ARDYTH, of Manning, Iowa, all of whom are
left to mourn the loss of a loving and affectionate father. Mrs. MOON
passed away Oct. 17, 1908. He also leaves three sisters and one brother
besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

"Ike", as he was familiarly called, was a patient sufferer for several years
with cancer of the stomach and often expressed a wish to be at rest.

He united with the M.E. Church South in 1887, and lived a consistent
Christian life until his death which occurred Oct. 21, 1913. The funeral
was conducted at the home of Mrs. ELSIE MCGHEE, by Rev. Dobean and the
remains were laid to rest by the side of his wife in the Corder Cemetery to
await the resurrection morn.

My notes: I looked at Sarah Moon's obit. that I posted in 2001 and had asked where Corder Cemetery was... After some looking around, I find it in Wayne Co., Lineville, Iowa..
