'Deaf Boy Tumbles From Tree Chasing Squirrels; Dies.'

Council Bluffs, Iowa, April 3:

JOHN MAIN, 13 years old, a student at the state school for deaf here, died
today as a result of injuries received in a fall from a tree on the
institution grounds last Saturday while chasing squirrels. He was from
Decatur City and had been at the school three years.

Our community was greatly shocked Saturday morning when the news came that
little JOHN MAIN, son of Mr. and Mrs. WILL MAIN, had been accidentally
