JACOB BIGLEY, son of JACK NATHAN and ELIZABETH BIGLEY, was born Oct. 4, l82l (sic), and departed this life, June ll, l924, being the age of l00 years, 7 months and 7 days old. And at the age of twenty-one, was united in marriage to MISS CATHERINE NITE; to this union were born ten children. They are: PETE, JOHN, ROBERT, PHILLIP, MARY, JANE, ANNA and three that died in infancy. CATHERINE, the mother was a loving mother. But God loved her better and called her home.

Seven years later, he was united in marriage to AMY ANN PERKINS; to this union were born eleven children; DAISY GERTRUDE, who has passed on before; MARY SMITH, of Lineville; ROSA BLUNT, of Leon, Iowa; BLANCH YOUNG, of Leon, Iowa; BERT BIGLEY, of Decatur; WILLIE BIGLEY, of Decatur; LORETTA and WONETA, of Des Moines; and DAVID and ALICE, of Des Moines. A kind and loving father which is hard to give up. But God has called him home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

The funeral was held at Leon, Iowa, at 2:30, Thursday, June l2, l924, the remains were laid to rest in the Leon Cemetery. Awaiting the resurrection and soon coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

CARD OF THANKS.

We wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to our neighbors and friends for the kindness and help during the sickness and death of our beloved father and husband. All was done that loving hands could do.
