EULA THELMA JONES, daughter of JOHN and ELVA JONES, was born August 22, l904, and after an illness of a little over fourteen months, passed from this life on the 25th day of April, l924, at the home of her parents, south of Davis City, Iowa; age l9 years, 8 months and 3 days.

She was stricken with influenza during the month of February, l923, which later developed into tuberculosis, from which she never recovered. Previous to contracting this disease, she attended high school at Lamoni, Iowa, and had she been permitted to finish the year's work, would have graduated in May of last year.

She was baptized August 20, l9l6, thus becoming a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and continued a faithful member until the time of her death.

She leaves, father, mother, sister, grandfather and grandmother, together with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her early departure from this life.

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, April 27th, at the Saints Church in Davis City, Iowa. W.T. Shakespeare in charge, sermon by W.E. Prall. Interment at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of that place.
