MISS ANNA BRIGGAMAN, for many years a resident of Leon, passed away at the state hospital at Clarinda last Sunday. Her sister, MISS MABEL BRIGGAMAN, of Omaha, Neb., accompanied her remains to Leon Monday evening; funeral services being held at the Christian Church Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the Leon Cemetery.

SARAH ANN BRIGGAMAN, daughter of GUS and IDA BRIGGAMAN, was born September 28, l890, near Leon, Iowa, and died January 6, l924; age 33 years, 4 months and 9 days old. She leaves to mourn her loss, three sisters: MISS MABEL BRIGGAMAN, of Omaha, Nebraska; MRS. T.M. DEAL, Fairfield, Iowa; and MRS. HAROLD SMITH, of Des Moines, Iowa; and a host of relatives and friends. Her father and mother having preceded her to the better land.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at Leon, Iowa, and she was laid to rest in the Leon Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, January 8, l924, Rev. J.V. Clark officiated.
