Thursday, December 20, l923FOREST GLENN FORSYTHE, son of MR. and MRS. T.M. FORSYTHE, was born Nov. l6, l904, in Garfield County, Oklahoma. Ten years ago with his parents, he came to Leon, where he has since lived. In l9l9 he graduated from the 8th grade of our public schools--for several years thereafter he has held several different positions but in September of this year, he enlisted in the Navy, intending to spend a number of years to come in the service of his country. He was intensely interested in and enthusiastic about his life in the Navy but that life was destined to be but of the briefest duration, for on December 9th, after a brief illness, he passed from this earthly life, at El Paso, Texas. GLENN was a boy with many friends and his loss will be felt far outside his own family circle. For some years he had been a loyal member of the Methodist Sunday School. There survive him, his parents, two brothers, LESTER and OLEN, three sisters, NONA, THELMA and RUBY, and his grandmother, MRS. M.S. MCKINNEY, of Mercer, Mo., besides many other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, Sunday afternoon, Dec. l6th, interment in the Leon Cemetery.
