MABEL MCCORMICK was born May ll, l897 and died April 28, l923; aged 26 years, ll months and l7 days. She was married to ERNEST MCCORMICK August l2, l9l7, and to them were born two children, EDITH LENORA, age 3 years and JOHN WILLIAM, infant, who preceded his mother in death. She was baptized in l9l3 in the Apostolic Faith and lived a devoted Christian.

MABEL lived the most of her life near Pleasanton, Iowa, where her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She was possessed of Christian character, ever working toward the high attainments of life. It is sad indeed; just as her promising life was unfolding before her to be stricken down as such traits which she possessed are rare, but an all-wise God rules. She leaves to mourn their loss, her heartbroken husband and little daughter, mother, step-father, two brothers, three sisters and numerous other relatives and a host of friends that can truly say, a loving wife, a kind mother and true friend has gone.

The funeral was held at Pleasanton, Monday, April 30, conducted by Rev. Dale. A large gathering of friends attended. Interment in the North Cemetery.
