SUSIE JANE STILL, daughter of ANDREW and ANN STILL, was born January 28, l857, and died August l2, l925, aged 68 years, 6 months and l5 days. All her life was spent in Decatur County, Iowa. She was married to DAVID HUBBARD, March 30, l882. To this union were born twelve children, five preceding her to the great beyond in infancy; OLLIE, 9 years of age in l903 and JOHN, aged 3l years on December l2, l920. Those living are ANDREW, of Axtel, Kansas; MRS. ANNIE REINIER; MRS. LULU FROST, HERBERT, CLARENCE, WILLIAM and MRS. BEULAH RUMLEY, all of Decatur County. She also had eight grandchildren, two passed away in infancy.

She united with the New Salem Baptist Church several years past and owing to ill health, could not always attend church, but lived a consistent Christian life to the time of her death, often expressing herself ready to go when the Lord called to relieve her from her great suffering.

She leaves to mourn her going, a kind and loving husband who for 43 years has shared her joys and sorrows, who with the children has done everything possible to alleviate her great suffering and make her last days peaceful. She also leaves three sisters; MRS. BARBARA DAVIS, of Davis City; MRS. ROSE HENDERSON, of Pleasanton and MRS. RETTA MOOSE, of Oklahoma, and two brothers, ED STILL, of Pleasanton and RALPHTON STILL, of Cainsville, Mo, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her departure.

Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter on August l4, l925, conducted by Rev. Elba Dale. Interment in the Meek Cemetery.
