GERTRUDE MILLS, daughter of BENJAMIN and SALLY MILLS, was born at Paducah, Kentucky, Jan. l4, l880, died at Kenniwick, Washington, November 30, l922, aged 42 years, l0 months and l6 days.

She was united in marriage to ARTHUR C. QUIETT, May l5, l9l6, and was a true and devoted wife. She became a member of the Baptist Church when quite young, and was always cheerful and was happiest when helping or giving to others.

She is survived by her husband, her father, BENJAMIN MILLS and one brother, ELMER MILLS, of Louisville, Kentucky, and by many other relatives and friends.

Accompanied by her husband, the remains arrived in Leon on Tuesday of last week. Funeral services being held at the M.E. Church, Wednesday afternoon, the sermon being by Rev. T.F. Campbell, Pastor of the Leon Presbyterian Church. Interment in the Leon Cemetery.
