PETER A. BRIGHT was born in Decatur County, Iowa, in l863 and departed this life at his home in Lineville, Iowa, August 30, l922, age 59 years, 4 months and 26 days.

Most of his life was spent in Decatur County. August lst, l885, he was united in marriage to MARGARET A. LARKINS. To this union five children were born: HENRY EDWARD, BLANCHE MAY DOBSON, WILLIAM FRANK, GRACE ALTHA MOORE and MORRIS GLENN.

Besides his wife and these children, he leaves to mourn his loss five sisters, three brothers and ten grandchildren, as well as a host of life-long friends.

At the age of thirteen he was converted and joined the M.E. Church South and has lived a true Christian life in his home and in the community. The funeral was held at his home in South Lineville on August 3lst at 3 p.m., Rev. F.B. Moore officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville.
