NANCY ANNA FOX was born in Marion County, Jan. 2, l839, and died at her home in Garden Grove, July l5, l922, aged 83 years, 6 months and l3 days. She was the daughter of MR. and MRS. EMIS FOX. In the year of l856, she was united in marriage to WILLIAM ADAMS, who has gone before her. To this union were born five children, the oldest child, SARAH, has passed away before her mother. The four left to mourn the loss of their mother are: MRS. ALICE MCCLEARY, of Garden Grove; ALFRED ADAMS, of Canada; MRS. DORA GRIFFIN, of Pleasanton, and MRS. HATTIE TRISLER, of near Derby, Iowa. All of which were at her bedside when she passed away, except her son, ALFRED.

On June 26, l920, she was united in marriage to MR. JOHN CHERRY. The largest part of her life was spent in Garden Grove. She was a kind wife, mother and grandmother, making all those around her happy. She united with the Baptist Church in early girlhood.
