EVA PUGH, daughter of J.R. and EMMA PUGH, was born in Decatur County, Iowa, on December 2l, l873, and died June 2, l922, at Enid, Oklahoma, aged 48 years, 5 months and l2 days.

When she was one year old, her parents moved to Phillips County, Kansas, which was her home for twelve years. With her parents, she then went to Holdredge, Nebraska, where her education, already begun in Kansas, was completed. Until her marriage to DIXON MORGAN on June 5, l897, she taught school with unvarying success in both the States of Nebraska and Iowa. Three years later, the family came to Garfield County, Oklahoma, where for twenty-two years they lived on a farm near Enid.

She leaves her husband and five children, her mother, a brother and a sister. The children are GLEN EUGENE, HAROLD DIX, CLYDE WILLARD, EVERETT EDWARD and HAZEL MARIE.

The funeral services, in charge of Rev. M. Porter, was held at the Presbyterian Church, June 5, at 3 o'clock p.m., the body was laid to rest in the Enid Cemetery. As a mark of high appreciation in which MRS. MORGAN was held, a very large audience gathered to pay their last tribute of respect.
