Thursday, June l, l922MRS. ALICE H. EATON, sixty-five years old, wife of LUCIAN E. EATON, SR. of Kellerton, Iowa, died at 5:l8 o'clock Saturday afternoon in a St. Joseph Hospital, following an illness of two weeks. MRS. EATON was born in Smyrna, Del. She came to St. Joseph with her husband in l889. MR. EATON was for four years, manager of the Transit House. They removed to Seneca, Kan., in l9l7, and two years later moved to Kellerton.
Besides her husband, MRS. EATON is survived by two sons, LUCIAN A. EATON, JR., Jefferson City, Mo., and WILFRED H. EATON, Leon, Iowa, also by a brother, LUTHER R. HOFFECKER, Kennitt Square, Pa., and four sisters, MRS. SARA CRANDALL, St. Joseph, and MRS. HELEN OAKLEY, MRS. T. TALLEY SMITH and MRS. JOHN HUFFINGTON, Wilmington, Del. MRS. J.V. HOFFECKER, Willmington, is her step-mother. MRS. EATON was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge at Kellerton.
The funeral service was conducted at 2:30 o'clock, Monday afternoon at Rock's, and burial was in Mount Mora Cemetery.
