W.L. ARNOLD, who had been sick for some time at the home of his daughter, MRS. A.P. BETHARDS, of southeast of Leon, passed away last Thursday. MR. ARNOLD was born in Marion County, Iowa, Nov. l, l854, being 67 years, 5 months and 5 days old. He was united in marriage in l878 in poweshiek County, Iowa, to MARY ELLEN MURROW, who died eleven years ago. MR. ARNOLD moved some years ago to Egbert, Wyoming, coming back to Iowa about six months ago on account of poor health, and had been at Iowa City for treatment, but after returning, gradually grew weaker until death relieved him.

His body was taken Saturday morning to his home at Egbert for interment, accompanied by his daughter, MRS. B.F. BLEDSOE, of Egbert, who came here a short time ago to be with her father.
