Quite a heavy snow fell Saturday which is
being improved by the young
folks.

BRO. ZIKE, of the U.B. Church, occupied the
pulpit in the Union Church
Sunday night.

GRANT CRAIG came home from an extended trip
through Kansas and South
Dakota, Saturday.

MISS MARY BRANT, who has been visiting
friends in Davis City the past
week, returned to her home in Garden Grove
Saturday.

MISS MAUD BOWMAN, of King City, Mo. who has
been visiting in Davis City
the past few days, returned home Monday.

MISS MABLE HORNER came home Friday to spend
Sunday with her parents.

C. AKES of Leon, was in Davis City Saturday.

MISSES PEARL NORMAN and GRACE HORNER are
again able to attend school.

Several of the children are sick at MRS.
JACKSON's.

MESSERS LAMBERT and ANDERSON, of Lamoni, were
in our city Sunday.

LEGRANT BOLDMAN and his son, FRANK, returned
from Des Moines, where they
have been working the past few months.

GEORGE BAKER ESQ. went to Leon, Saturday.

MR. and MRS. MCMARNISS are in town at the
present writing.

MR. COOPER, the operator who has been filling
MR. GRIFFETH's place in
the depot, left on Monday and and MR.
GRIFFETH has again resumed duty.
