NILES CHANDLER died at his home in Leon last
Sunday; he was the youngest
son of MR. and MRS. S. CHANDLER; the funeral
services were held at the
old Dunkard Church, conducted by Revs. Gurley
and Waller.

MRS. C. CHASTAIN and son WILLARD visited
relatives and friends in Leon
the first of the week.

MR. PEASE and FRANK JONES visited at MR.
HUGHES' one day the past week.

We understand ETTA LEWIS has been employed to
teach the spring term of
school at Pleasant View. We think this a
wise plan.

We see MIKE GARBER rides in a new surrey.

MISS MATTIE GARBER accompanied by ED KEMP
attended church in Leon Sunday
night.

MASTERS ROY and JAMIE LONG visited ERNEST
CHASTAIN Friday of last week.
