On last Sunday at the residence of ROBT. H.
JOHNSON, who lives about six
miles east of Leon, occurred the family
reunion of the CAMPBELL family
it being the 50th anniversary of MRS.
JOHNSON's birthday. And the rest
commemorated it by all meeting at her home
and taking dinner with her.
This was the first time they had all met
together in more than thirty
years and it was an event which will be long
remembered by those who
participated in it. Their names and ages are
as follows: MRS. MARY A.
HAWK, aged 59, Leon, Iowa; A.E. CAMPBELL,
aged 52, Saline, Mo.; NANCY
JOHNSON, aged 50, Leon, Iowa; MRS. HALSTEAD,
aged 46, Davis City, Iowa;
GEO. P. CAMPBELL, aged 42, Davis City, Iowa;
HORACE R. CAMPBELL, aged
37, Curtis, Neb.

Their combined ages including the odd days
and months not given is 289
years, l month and 24 days.

Their combined weight is l,064 lbs., divided
as follows: MRS. HAWK, l20;
A.E. CAMPBELL, 202; MRS. JOHNSON, l76; MRS.
HALSTEAD, l86; GEO. P.
CAMPBELL, 202.

MRS. JOHNSON was the recipient of some
valuable birthday presents.
