I just began subscribing to this list - it is wonderful! I've already read
an obituary regarding my family - that of Vandetta Lucile Lafollett.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the Lafollett family.
George Lafollet (b. 1870 Mercer Co., MO, s/o John & Harriet (Petty)
Lafollett) married 1st to Miriam Maggie Waldo (b. 1875 MI, d. 1897 Decatur
Co., IA, d/o Amasa Wellington & Louisa (Bullock) Waldo) on 10 Feb 1896 in
Decatur county.

George and Miriam had one child, Louisa, b. Mar 1897. Miriam died shortly
after Louisa's birth.

It would appear that George remarried to Lida Unknown bet 1900 and 1902, most
likely in Decatur county. By 1920 this family was living in Des Moines.

I am trying to locate info on Louisa Lafollett, daughter of George & Miriam,
or any information on the Lafollett family.
