MR. and MRS. SAM GASSETT celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding
anniversary last Sunday at their pleasant farm home, southeast of Leon
three and one-half miles. About thirty-five guests were in attendance
and each and every one enjoyed the day and sumptuous dinner very much
indeed. MRS. GASSETT had prepared a splendid feast and the many
pleasant features of the day made it one to be long remembered by those
present. Those in attendance were: J.M. EIKER and wife, J. HILL and
wife, MRS. E. MORRILL and daughter, MISS GRACE, W.A. ALLBAUGH and wife,
CLEM JENKINS and wife, HENRY ONEY and wife and daughter, MISS POKE,
CLYDE YOST and wife, JAMES MCMORRIS and wife and daughter, MRS. MARY
THOMPSON, MISS ANNA GAMMON, HARRIS GAMMON, W.E. GAMMON and wife, ROY
GAMMON and wife and son, LESTER, BEN CHASTAIN and wife, MRS. SARAH
CHASTAIN, H. MCKINLEY and wife, WALTER GASSETT and wife and son.
