Elvera V. (Johnson) Mullen

Elvera V. (Johnson) Mullen was born in 1909, the daughter of Elijah Benjamin “Lidge” and Nettie Anne (Strubhar) Johnson. Elvera Mullen taught at the Foland School from 1955 to 1958. She was the last teacher at the Foland School. Elvera then taught remedial reading and junior high typing classes at Grand River and Grand Valley Community School in Grand River.

Elvera married Clinton E. Mullen on February 19, 1930. Elvera died on November 9, 1968. Burial was made at Hopeville Cemetery, Hopeville, Iowa.
