Ethel Brumley
PULASKI - Former Pulask resident Ethel Louisa Brumley, 81, of Danville died at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 21 at Burlington Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1898, in Augusta Township to Osborne and Amelia Blume Saunders. She married Joseph R. Brumley Nov. 1, 1916, at Bloomfield. He died Sept. 14, 1968. She was a member of United Church of Christ and Danville Garden Club at Danville and a past matron of Burlington Chapter 545 of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors: daughters Romana Thayer of San Diego, Calif., and Doris Kelley of Danville; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and brothers Floyd and Oliver Saunders of Lake Worth, Fla., and Everette Saunders of Mount Pleasant.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ at Danville, the Rev. Clyde Norrgard officiating.
Burial: 4 p.m. Thursday at Pulaski Cemetery.
Memorials: to her church.
Visitation: at Elliott Chapel in New London from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
