Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” September 18, 1940:

MRS. HARRIET L. HUSTON.

Eldon.–Mrs. Harriet L. Huston, 84, died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Lee Bonnett, where she has resided for the last five years. She had been critically ill the last two weeks.

Mrs. Huston had lived in Eldon and vicinity all her life and was married to Dr. Robert L. Huston August 29, 1896. He died in 1900. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John Doser of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. [sic-should be Miss] Emma Drake of Glenwood; two sons, Clyde Drake of Floris and Eugene Drake of Lineville; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Campbell funeral home in Eldon in charge of the Rev. E.H. Willey. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery south of Eldon.
