HOLD FINAL RITES FOR MRS. CHRISTY SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Funeral rites for Mrs. Amanda E. Christy, of Bloomfield, were held at the Christian church here Sunday afternoon with Rev. Luther Childs of Centerville officiating. Burial was at the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

She was the widow of Jonathan Christy, who died in 1926. Mrs. Christy was 90 years old and was born in Davis County Dec. 29, 1849. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Benge. Mrs. Christy died at her home here Friday. Mrs. Christy's entire life was spent in Davis county. She began her pioneer days in a log house near Floris.

Her two surviving children are Delpha Bollman of Bloomfield and Lafe Christy of Michigan. Nine children preceded her in death,. In addition to her two children, Mrs. Christy is survived by 18 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
