William Milton, the son of Sylvester and Jane Wilcoxson was born near Mark, Iowa, September 24, 1871. He died at the St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa, July 3, 1950 at the age of 78 years.

Most of his life was spent in Davis county where he attended the Rural schools and later the Southern Iowa Normal. he was amember of the Baptist church.

On January 19, 1898 he was married to Anna Mae Freshwater. They moved to a farm near Bloomfield and continued to farm until a few years ago when because of poor health they moved to Bloomfield. Here Anna passed away in April, 1949.

He is survived by a brother, Marion of Des Moines, a daughter, Mrs. Cargile Bollman of Pulaski, and four grandchildren, Phyllis, Doran, Steve, and Robert.

Services were conducted at the Wagler Funeral Home by Rev. Fred D. Sawyer, with burial at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Bloomfield, Paul bearers were George Johnston, Clifford Carlson, Claude Redenbaugh, Lowell Hamilton and Bill Anderson.
