Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Monday, April 12, 1920:

Mrs. Matilda Murray, wife of Robert Murray, died yesterday evening at 8:30 o’clock at the home, 233 Kenyon avenue.

Mrs. Murray was 65 years of age. She was born in Schuyler county, Mo., September 12, 1854.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Cloker of Council Bluffs, two sisters, Mrs. Mallisa Lay, of Greentop, Mo., and Mrs. Ellen Wilcher, of Lincoln, Neb., and one brother Frank Forbes of Cushing, Okla.

The remains were taken to the Moroney funeral home, and from there will be sent to Belknap at 8 o’clock tomorrow morning. The funeral services will be held at Dunville [sic] church tomorrow morning at 11:30 o’clock. Interment in Dunville [sic] cemetery.
