The remains of Mary Calvert wife of C. M. Calvert, were taken yesterday morning to Drakeville where intermentwas made. The funeral services were held Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the residence, 113 North Willard Street conducted by Rev. E. J. pastor at the Willard Street M. E. church.
Ottumwa tri-weekly courier, August 10, 1911 Mary Myers was born in St. Louis, Mo., January 4, 1863 and died at her home in Ottumwa, July 28, 1911 aged 48 years. She was united in marriage to Charles M.
Calvert in Centerville, Iowa, April 17, 1884. They removed to Lyons, Kan., where they lived about a year and then to Drakesville, Iowa, where they lived until January 1887 when they moved to Eldon, living there until the fall of 1903, when they moved to Ottumwa, Iowa. She united with the Willard Street Methodist Episcopal church November 1908. Mrs. Calvert was stricken with-apoplexy about 6:45 p. m. July 26 and lay unconscious until &40 p. m.
July 28 when she passed away. She leaves to mourn their loss, her beloved husband, her mother, a brother in Denver and a brother in Portland, Ore.—Contributed.
