Nathen E. Binz was born June 18, 1878 in Floris, Iowa. His father, Fred Binz was born in Germany and died in Floris July 17, 1899. His mother and three brothers survive him. Will of King City, Mo. Frank and Ed of Floris, IA.
Nathen united with the Baptist church of Floris February 19, 1905 and was a faithful member until his death and was secretary of Sunday school for some time. For several years he had suffered a great physical affliction but his death was unexpected, occurring early Saturday morning. February 19, 1910. His funeral was held at the Baptist church Monday the 21st. conducted by Rev. F.
L. Roper, assisted by Rev. Ed Mills.
Interment in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
