Mary Ethel Clark, 97, of Nelson Nursing Home, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 1996, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The service was Sunday at Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Quentin Johnson officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery at Bloomfield. A memorial was established to Bloomfield Christian Church.
Mrs. Clark was born July 14, 1898, in rural Davis County, the daughter of John and Mahala Daniels Wilson. On Jan. 6, 1920, she married Arthur Clark in Bloomfield. He died April 10, 1949. They lived in Fairfield for two years after their marriage, them in Ottumwa and Bloomfield. She was a member of Bloomfield Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Otis and Ernest Wilson; Marie Spurgeon and Lola Lang. Ron Rominger of Fairfield is her nephew.
