Opal Irene Buck
Opal Irene Buck, 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Buck of Greenwood Drive, died at the St. Joseph hospital today at 5:30 AM. She was a high school pupil. Surviving are her parents; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Leedom of Ottumwa and Louella, Helen, Jesse, and Margaret Buck at home; three brothers, John, Charles, and Junior Buck at home, and the grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Ed Bigham of Ottumwa and Mrs. John Squires of Carbon, Iowa. Short services will be held Thursday at 3 PM in Johnson's funeral Chapel and at 3:30 PM in the Pentecostal church conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
