Resident Of Ottumwa 51 Years Dies
Mrs. Florence Anna Erb, 62, died at the home of her sister Mrs. George Carter,
1321 Greenwood Dr., Tuesday at 11:15 PM. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the last 51 years. Mrs. Erb was the daughter of George and Matilda Butler and was born in Drakesville, July 25, 1874. She was a member of the Ottumwa Lodge, No. 657, Security Benefit Association. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.
Lillian Shafer of Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Carter, Mrs. Mary Bish, and Mrs. Nina Parker, all of Ottumwa; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Emma Craig of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Mary Etta Richmond of Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 PM to the Johnson funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. A. D.
McClure. Burial be made in the Memorial Lawn cemetery.
