Mrs. Frona E. Strunk
Mrs. Frona E. Strunk, 64, died at University hospital, Iowa City, at 6:45 AM today. Her home was on Ottumwa route 6. She was the daughter of James and Martha Downing and was born in Davis County, August 14, 1872. All her life she had spent in Davis and Wapello County, the last 10 years in the latter.
Surviving are her husband, John; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Benge of Wauneta, Nebraska, Mrs. Mossie Hyde of Arizona and Mrs. Cleo Snodgrass of Rock Island, Illinois; four sons, Clifford, Oakley, and Frank of Ottumwa and Ernest Strunk of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, three sisters, Mrs. Grace Whisler of Bunch, Mrs.
Frances Hopkins of Blakesburg, and Mrs. Daisy Kennick of Washington state, and one brother, William Downing of Bunch. This body is being brought to the Johnson's funeral Chapel.
