Alexander D. Haskins 1838-?, Perry

I am looking for information on the brother of my gr.gr.grandmother Elmina (Haskins) Hannah brother Alexander D. Haskins. He was born in 1838, possibly in New York. He came west with his dad (Andrew Haskins) & sister Elmina. Alexander served in the Civil War in Wisconsin & rose to the rank of captain. He settled in Perry, Iowa. He married Harriet E. & had 3 children (I think)-- Nora who's second marriage was to Chester T. Emmert Jan. 10, 1912, Cecelia who married George Harrison Covey June 09, 1886, Cecelia died in child birth April 02, 1887 18y 9m 26d. Their child's name was Celia who died in 1978. R. G. who married Minnie Stribling June 23, 1897. Alexander, Harriet, Cecilia & Celia are all buried at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa. Can anybody help me find this family? I would like to find out more about Alexander's parents also. I am pretty sure that their names were Andrew Haskins & Dyantha Allen.I would appreciate any help I can get.
