Loine (Mae) Sorensen, 88, passed away January 24, 2012 at her daughter's home.
Loine is survived by her three daughters, Kathy McAninch of Waukee, Sherry Bennet of Knoxville, and Jessie Mason of Melcher-Dallas; three sons, Dwight of Florida, and Dennis and Curtis of Knoxville; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; sons, Morris and Andrew; sisters, Marie and Ruth; her brother, Lyle; and parents, Frank and Jessie Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
