Jane Elaine Weesner was born to Robert P. and Marjorie McKenzie Weesner on May 4th, 1965 at Dexter, Iowa. At three weeks of age she was stricken with meningitis. She was ill the remainder of her life and was a loving patient for doctors and nurses and parents who cared for her. She departed this life on November 18, 1965 at Blank Memorial hospital at Des Moines, Iowa.

She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, her sister Josephine Ellen, grandparents Rolland P. Weesner of Dexter and Dr. and Mrs. James McKenzie of Baxter. She is also survived by a great-grandfather, George H. Sanborn of Des Moines and a host of relatives and friends.

Services were held at the Dexter Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, November 20 with Rev. John Latta officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. K. M. Chapler, organist. Wilma Isenberg, Antoinette Adkins and Ellen Leighty had charge of flowers Honorary casket bearers were Virgil Sanborn, Robert Lawson, Glen Patience and Calvin Scott. Interment was in the Dexter cemetery.

Relatives and friends attending the funeral were from Baxter, Des Moines, Stuart, Earlham, Altoona and Dexter.
