Dexter—Dennis Ray Fredericksen, 46, of Dexter, died Sept. 20, 1995, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in rural Guthrie County. Services were held Sept. 23 at Kuhn Funeral Home in Dexter, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.

Mr. Fredericksen was born on July 30, 1949 to Hans and Iva Fredericksen at the Earlham Clinic. He graduated from Stuart High School in 1967. On March 1, 1968, he married Gloria Murphy. He was self-employed as a commercial hauler for his company, Fredericksen Sanitation. He belonged to the Dexter United Presbyterian Church and was involved with the church youth group.

Mr. Fredericksen is survived by his wife, his parents, his siblings, Dean of Adair, Ivan of Patterson, Roger of Atlantic and Kathy Lenz of Atlantic. He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Jim Fredericksen.
