Dexter—A funeral for Leo G. Nopoulos, 69, of Dexter was held May 13, 1988 at the United Methodist Church here. Mr. Nopoulos died of cancer on May 10 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center at Des Moines. Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery.

He was born at Wilton Junction and moved to Stuart in 1946. He later moved to Dexter, where he was an attorney. He was a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers, Elks Lodge 407 and Wiscotta Masonic Lodge 158 at Redfield. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Iris; four sons, Craig of Olathe, Kan., Steven of Norfolk, Va., Jon of Adel and Antony of Iowa City; a daughter, Sandra Shoemaker of Grand Rapids, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
