Dexter—A funeral for Corles C. Spring, 77, of Bella Vista, Ariz. was held June 7 at the Dexter Cemetery. Mr. Spring died of complications stemming from a blood clot June 3 at the Springdale Memorial Hospital in Ariz. Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

He was born in Ridgeway, Mo., June 14, 1914 to Robert Marion Spring and Inez Cookman Spring. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942 to 1945, and was a member of the American Legion for 46 years. He spent most of his life in Redfield, where he retired from his insurance agency after 30 years. In 1983 he moved to Bella Vista, Ariz.

He is survived by his wife, Dortha, one son and one daughter, two step-sons, 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, a half-sister and a half-brother.
