Dona Gail Dacre, 75, of Dexter, died of a lung ailment Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001 at home. Services were held Nov. 7 at Dexter United Methodist Church with burial at Dexter Cemetery.

Dona Dacre was born in rural Dallas County and had lived in Baltimore, Md., from 1947 until moving to Dexter in 1963. She was a retired managing administrator with Dexter Nursing Care Center.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph and Jerry, both of Dexter, and Jay of Juno Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Darlene Gruber of Fontanelle and Kay Stanley of Dexter; five brothers, Bill Stiles of Des Moines and Dean Stiles, Jerry Stiles, Randy Stiles and Dan Stiles, all of Dexter; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Kuhn Funeral Home in Dexter handled the arrangements.
