Dexter—A funeral for Eva Lenore Morford, 78, of Dexter was held June 18, 1988 at the United Methodist Church at Dexter. Mrs. Morford died of a heart condition June 15 at Des Moines. Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.

The daughter of Lewis Elmer and Eva Belle Palmer Paullin, she was born at rural Dexter on June 13, 1910. On December 25, 1926 she married Clifton Daulton, who passed away in 1960. Mrs. Morford remarried on June 2, 1962 to Fred Morford. He passed away in 1975. Mrs. Morford had lived in rural Dexter, then Dexter itself. She was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church, and secretary until her death. She was also a member of PIO Sisterhood, Earlham Eastern Star Chapter 294, Rebekah Lodge and other organizations and club.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; her parents; four brothers, Ward, Irwin, Walter and Elden; and her sister, Myrtle Witkowski.

Survivors include three step-children, Fred Morford and wife Verna, Florence Day and husband Scott and Lenore Lineville and husband Guy; nine step-grandchildren; eleven step great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; sister-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
