Stuart—Justin Adolph Blomquist, 87, of Stuart died of pneumonia at the Guthrie County Memorial Hospital on Dec. 7, 1995. Services were held Dec. 11 at the United Methodist Church in Dexter, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.

Mr. Blomquist was born near Holdrege, Neb. on March 2, 1908 to Andrew John Blomquist and Hilma S. Lundvall Blomquist. He moved to a farm south of Stuart in 1916 where he lived until he was an adult. On March 11, 1932, he married Vera Naomi Lee in Dexter. He farmed most of his life in Madison County and lived on the family farm south of Dexter for 47 years, retiring in 1991 to their home in Stuart. He was a longtime member of the Farm Bureau and the Dexter Methodist Church.

Mr. Blomquist is survived by his wife of Stuart; his daughter, Sandra Rogers of Dexter; two brothers, Milford and Raymond of Stuart; one sister, Vera Marlenee of Adel; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Mr. Blomquist was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Elmer, Guy, Reuben and Marvin; and three sisters, Hazel Denning, Eunice Blomquist and Ermiece Luckinbill.

Memorials may be given to Dexter Methodist Church.
